WHAT IS INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE?
Indian Head Massage is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic treatment that focuses on the upper back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, scalp, and face areas where we often hold stress and tension. Traditionally performed with the client seated in a chair, Indian Head Massage uses a combination of gentle strokes, pressure points, and circular movements to stimulate circulation, release muscular tightness, and restore the body’s natural energy flow.
This treatment helps calm the nervous system, ease headaches, relieve tension in the shoulders and jaw, and promote a deep sense of calm and clarity. It’s a beautiful way to rebalance the mind, body, and soul especially for those feeling overwhelmed, tense, or mentally drained.
HOW CAN IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Our energy systems the mind, body, and soul are deeply interconnected, and true wellbeing relies on maintaining balance between them. When tension or stress builds up in one area, it can affect the whole system. Indian Head Massage works to release built up stress, ease physical tension, and support the body’s natural ability to restore itself. This treatment helps bring the body back into balance, leaving you feeling recharged and at ease.

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE DURING MY TREATMENT?
Your initial treatment will be extended to allow for a discussion of your current health status, ensuring that your treatment is both safe and customised to your individual requirements. It's crucial to consider all aspects of your life to maximise the benefits and results. Before your treatment you will need to fill out a consultation form. Rest assured, all provided information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
The treatment will be performed in the traditional way, seated comfortably in a chair. I’ll need access to your upper body to carry out the massage, and a soft blanket will be used to ensure your comfort and modesty throughout.
We'll begin by easing tension in your lower back, shoulders, and neck with slow, soothing movements. The massage continues down the arms and into the hands, helping to release built up stress. As we move towards the scalp, rhythmic techniques promote deep relaxation, and finally, the face is gently massaged, focusing on the Marma points. These vital energy points help clear blockages, increase circulation, and promote overall healing, leaving you feeling grounded, rejuvenated, and completely balanced.
This calming sequence is a true escape, bringing peace and harmony to both body and mind.
